Welcome to Notonix. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of notonix.me and the Notonix application (collectively, the "Service"), operated by ROHIT RAJENDRA PATIL ("we," "us," "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use Notonix. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

Notonix is not directed to children or individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and anyone under 18 must not create an account or use the Service.

We do not knowingly collect data from under-18 users.

2. Description of Service

Notonix is a personal knowledge management application that helps users capture, organize, and interact with notes and information using AI-assisted features. The Service is offered across multiple plans, which may include a Free plan and one or more paid plans (e.g. Pro, Ultra).

2.1 Plans, Features & Pricing

• The specific features, usage quotas, and pricing for each plan are described on our pricing/subscription page within the app at the time of purchase
• These are also enforced on the backend according to the plan you are subscribed to
• We may add, modify, or discontinue plans, features, or pricing at any time. Existing paid subscribers will be given reasonable notice before any change that reduces the value of their current plan takes effect during their active billing period
• The plan details shown to you at the time you subscribe or renew govern that billing period

2.2 Early Access Notice

Notonix is currently in an early/testing phase. As a result:

• Features, quotas, and pricing may change more frequently than they will once the product reaches general availability
• You may encounter bugs, incomplete features, or temporary service interruptions as we actively develop the product
• We will make reasonable efforts to notify existing paid subscribers before any change that reduces the value of their current plan takes effect

3. Account Registration

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
• You agree to provide accurate and current information when creating your account
• Notify us immediately at rohitrppatil9188@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account

4. Subscription, Billing & Payments

• Paid subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly/annual, as selected at checkout) via Razorpay
• By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method through Razorpay for recurring fees until you cancel
• All fees are quoted in Indian Rupees (INR) and are exclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date
• See our separate Cancellation Policy for details on cancelling your subscription. Notonix does not offer refunds except in cases of duplicate or failed-payment errors, as described in that policy

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service, other users' accounts, or our systems
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service
• Upload malicious code, or content that infringes on the rights of others
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without our prior written consent
• Exceed or circumvent usage quotas associated with your plan

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

6. Your Content

• You retain ownership of all notes, documents, and content you create or upload to Notonix ("User Content")
• By using AI-assisted features, you grant us a limited license to process your User Content solely for the purpose of generating the requested output (e.g., summaries, suggestions)
• You are solely responsible for the legality and accuracy of the content you submit

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, branding, and underlying software, is the property of ROHIT RAJENDRA PATIL and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or branding without prior written permission.

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep Notonix available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We may perform maintenance, updates, or modifications that temporarily affect availability, with reasonable notice where practical.

Notonix is currently optimized for desktop and laptop use. Mobile access via PWA (Progressive Web App) is available but under active development, and some features may not function identically across all devices. We recommend using Notonix on a desktop or laptop for the best experience.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Notonix and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.

10. Termination

• You may terminate your account at any time through account settings or by contacting rohitrppatil9188@gmail.com
• We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or for any reason with reasonable notice, except where immediate action is required to protect the Service or other users

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bagalkot,Karnataka,India.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. Material changes affecting paid subscribers will be communicated in advance.
